There is a FANTASTIC BBQ joint on the Animas River at the south end of town.  I can’t remember the name, but it’s the only BBQ joint there.  Also our favorite bar is the El Rancho…it’s on Main St. more toward the north end.…there are a few others but they mostly cater to the college crowd.  Also Old Tymer’s Bar Restaurant, not bad either……

Not sure what you're talking about since Main St. runs East and West. huh

I am with Bevin - I hope there is some rain this year.  The dust last year was out of control.

Tom he's talking about Dgo. Main Ave runs N and S, but the BBQ is Serious Texas BBQ on S Camino Del Rio by the Harley D place.  LOTS OF CONSTRUCTION comin in from the east i.e. airport at La Plata International (that's a joke)  there is another Serious TX bbq at the very north end of town on the west side of Main Ave.

Wow!  Did she really go there???  She did! She went there, she raged, she burnt the village down, she came back, got drunk again, lost a shoe, and puked in the other one.  Now it's all mushy when she walks.  And it stinks.  But I'd still drink out of it. Hardcore. HARDCORE!
