So I am wondering if there are any size restriction or limits to tent sizes? I have a large frame canvas tent and wonder if I will have a problem pitching it? Really? There are 8 of us that would all be camping in Town Park in it and it is a 14 X 16  7 foot tall tent at the peak that we use for Elk Hunting in the winter. Is this going to be OK?  Cheers

Is there anywhere we could pick up a tent heater for the week, Im kinda a little concerned about the overnight temperature for us light travelling Brits.

Were bringing a dome tent with 2 separate sleeping quarters and Im sure its gonna get a little airy overnight once the beer and music wear off.  :vibes :vibes

I'm sure you could pick one up at either Wal-Mart, Target, or Sports Authority in Montrose. Thumbs Up

Sports Authority for sure.  I have a swell tent heater that I crank up right before bed and then when I wake up before I roll out of the sleeping bag.

Boy, and I thought that EJ's taj-ma-tent was big!!  Watch out for Camp Wander In.  We're tough on mega tents.  Lpts of pranks afoot.  All you have to do is hear the Great Telluride Balloon Massacre to get the idea of what's possible.
Cheers and bring it on, we'll find a place for it.

Ain't about the size of the tent you're pitching, it's how you use it!

Well, I don't think it will be a problem for your neighbors considering the fact that that tent is 228 sq ft, and there are 8 of you staying in it, which isn't really even that big if you take into account that it equates to an area of 7 foot by 4 foot for each person.  I think the many single person tents are larger than  28 sq ft of floor area, so, you guys are actually, on an individual basis, freeing up even more space for others!!!  Kudos to you for a conservationalist camping strategy! LOL Landshark!!   I was just pointing out that there's no need for the original poster to have concerns considering the size of the party, and, I do find it commendable that the questions was posed.
PS  Great Pic :)
