Thank you Tom.  I'd just like to say that I'm headed home from work shortly to have a beer.  I prefer Fat Tire beer over other beers but also find other beers to be satisfying in their own ways.  I recently had a green Fat Tire beer that was not so green due to it's dark amber color overpowering the green dye.  It was tasty but it turned my tongue green, which is not typical for standard beer...at least not the beers I drink.  If anyone else is having a beer right now then post away!!!

It is the start of my spring break (I'm a teacher) so my husband and I split a 6 pack of nbb's skinny dip last night.  The Springboard will be out in a few weeks and I enjoy that seasonal brew also.
Tonight we are traveling up to Alamosa Co and we will probably have a couple at the brew pub there.  If I remember correctly they have a great Heffewiezen.
Did anyone here try Loft?....they don't make it anymore but it was my husbands favorite nbb brew.
 Cheers

The 3 weeks after Telluride last year were glorious because on the way back to Wisconsin, my boyfriend and I stocked up on Fat Tire and other various New Belgium beers, since we can't get them here.  Friends were coming out of the woodwork to come have a beer.  Don't get me wrong, I love our Wisco beers, but New Belgium is delicious, and of course brings back memories  Love Cheers

I'm guessing it's O.K. to bring glass bottles into the campground...as long as you pour them into a cup and recycle the bottle???

As far as I know, the only campground that doesn't allow glass is Warner Field. Cheers

that is good to know...I can definately say that there will be plenty of fat tire to go around at our campsite in Mary Ilium.  All of you poor souls who can't get it where you live can come by and have a cold one.
I have to say that I am looking forward to maybe trying some homebrews at Telluride..will that be a pre-fest activity?  We don't brew beer...but we have some friends that brew and perhaps we can bring some to share.

Yes! As one of the many pre-fest activities there will be a homebrew tasting on the Tuesday before festival at noon in Town Park. Cheers

Thanks Tom, I will be coming up from Fort Collins...hopefully with some special brews from both New Belgium and Odell's. Often they will release limited styles in the tasting rooms at the breweries and you can fill up some growlers and be on you way.

Yeah, me too. I just re-read this post and now I am darn thirsty.

Punchy introduced me to a beer called Bell's Oberon Ale - it is umm good.  Cheers Any one else dig on that? It's a summer seasonal that lasts up through October. It doesn't look like Bell's has much distribution west of the big river so if you are east make sure to grab a Bells.  Thumbs Up

Not a big Oberon fan; it's a bit wheaty for my taste. But I do love their Two Hearted.
I love lots of Midwest beer (Great Lakes, Lakefront, Capital, Bells, Three Floyd's), but in Colorado the Breckenridge Autumn is out so I'm in heaven.

LOVE Oberon!  I buy the mini kegs every weekend!

the Two Hearted is yummy too!  Had some at a HopFest this past weekend that was run through a "Hopenator"....incredible!

Bells has come a looong way.

Great Lakes is one of my regular hangouts.  If you ever find yourself in Cleveland, drop me a line and i'll take you on an awesome brewery tour.
