Wave call me crazy but I'm savin' myself for the entire fest. Fresh ears....

I guess that's why it bugs me when people talk to me too much during a set while I listen,,, cause it's the first time for me....Let's go, I'll start the car.. Medal

L_grein, thanks for starting this thread!

Like BB said, it’s fun seeing everyone get worked-up over the same band… whether you are seeing them for the first time or the fifth time.

IN MY OPINION, RRE has really tightened their game. I hope more festivarians get a chance to see them before the fest. On occasion, bands are more suitable in a smaller venue where they are better able to connect with the audience and vice-versa. Take the Punch Brothers. I saw them last spring in Hollywood (with Courtness!) at a tiny venue, and we thought they were amazing! They even acknowledged Courtney’s shout-out. But, when they took the Main Stage at TBF (and again at RG), their stage presence was decidedly unimpressive. One thing is for certain, RRE is going to blow the peaks off the San Juans during that Friday night set! Good call, Planet!

As for “fresh ears” huh, Denver has so much crazy music that I find it impossible to stay away from it!

Well call me crazy and pressed fer quality time  Flower OK I will do a sneak peek Medal If you insist Cheers
Yes I agree with you  sometimes venue size has an influence on delivery..... Flower

Can't wait for RRE on Friday night!!! I've been waiting since 2001 for that!

Just last week RRE started a NEW beta forum for the band that's really rockin right now. It's found at - http://ignoredbydinosaurs.com/forum/index.php

that's just the temp name until the beta launch is finished. The moderator says its gonna be a RRE URL then. It's a great site so far!

See ya at T-Ride!

Nice work on the blog, Captain!  I get more and more excited every time I read this thread.  There is one thing I'm worried about though...is the RRE Mainstage show going to conflict with the YMSB Sheridan show?  Damn, that is a mighty tough one.

it probably will, but I'll take RRE over ANY Yonder show at this point.

No disrespect to Yonder, but RRE is KILLIN' IT right now and I like to fill my ears up with as much of them as I can get!

True- Railroad Earth is HOTTTT right now.  But, I do not get the whole "YMSB is not as good as they used to be" argument.  Sure, they have gotten bigger and expanded their music a bit but they still play with the same energy, intensity, and heart that they used to.

Railroad Earth and YMSB are definitly two of my favorite bands out there.  I might have multiple orgasms seeing them back to back that night.  That is going to be a bLAST!
