Mountain village can come down for the festivites through Wednesday, But they check wristbands starting Thursday.  Wave
Of course, us TP'ers don't have a posh house with a hot shower at your beckon call.  LOL LOL
Did you get the info on the stores in GJ huh

Might have to take you up on that!  Thumbs Up Might be fun to see how the better half lives,  LOL All are welcome on Tuesday in TP for the home brew tasting. At wander-In Camp across from our camp, The Jailhouse. Ron and I are planning to add a little finger food to this event to enhance the fine barley pops!
Soooo, plan on Tuesday in TP to meet up with all  the fine festivarians you have been battering with on the site.
Your group will have a great time and more than likely, make some lasting friendships.  Cheers
Look forward to meeting all!

Oooooh Rob you can say that again! I'm seriously looking forward to all the pre-fest TP activities  :) :) :) I'm so glad I joined the forum before I booked my flights, which means that I'll be able to enjoy chillin out with all you guys from Monday onwards!!!  Cheers
Ahhhh, the weather is getting nice here in the UK, and what with the sun and the trees in blossom, my heart is yearning for the sun on the Colorado mountains, the homebrews, the food and the sound of pickers jamming.... Ahhhhhhhh.... [sigh] It's gonna be AMAZING... I'm sure I've read it on one of the threads before, but there is something truly incredible about enjoying good music, food & drink in a great outdoor setting, it just seems to heighten the experience  Sunshine
For my fellow brits, as Enid Blyton rightfully put it "food always taste's better outdoors"  LOL

On another note, I really need to ask, at risk of making myself sound like a complete fool  Thumbs Up what exactly you guys mean by "condo" and "gondola"?
Those words aren't really part of the UK english vocabulary, and I can sort of guess from the context, but I'm still not quite sure what they mean...

Wave Hi LaLagay, I didn't see this post here. Not a stupid question ... a Condo is like an apartment or small home. A gondola is a Ski Trolly that takes you to the top of the mountain, like a small mountain shuttle in the sky.... beautiful....... Flower

Wave Thats great! We arrive in T-ride Monday, how about you guys? Which route will you be taaking if you are driving? Make sure your Boston contingent does not have any of that darn red Sox crap on!  LOL LOL LOL Thumbs Up

We arrive in Telluride on Monday.  A couple will be driving, but most are flying.  I am actually flying into Durango on Saturday and plan on spending a few days in Canyonlands & Arches National Parks in Utah before heading to Telluride on Monday.

No worry about Sox or Astros crap here, all 10 are Cards fans.

What part of St. Louis you from....and where are you staying during the festival?   huh

We've got another couple from the Stl joining us on Tuesday/Wednesday.

If we play our Cards right (get it...Cards) maybe we can get Sammy to give a shout out to his favorite baseball teams fans.

 Thumbs Up

Lady Bug,

Gondola = Sky Tram
Condo = Owned Flat (which are rented out during the summer because most owners only use them during the winter ski season)

JO,
St. Louis... is Ragazzi's still there on the Hill? Great place! They used to take care of our whole rugby team when we came up for the spring tournament. Can't remember the name of the park we played in, but was a great tournament and the folks at Ragazzi's were great and put up with us idiots. Great food and loved the fish bowls of beer! I'm sure when we started dancing and singing rugby songs upstairs, there was plaster falling from the ceilings downstairs!
We were the Old #7's out of Memphis at that time.

Yes. Rigazzi's is still there, I suppose it always will be, they had a fire a few years back but it was re-done and is still hummin' along, The food is OK and they still serve the frozen fish bowls of beer.  Cheers

I believe you probably played your Rugby in Forest Park. They still have a great many matches there every year. Forest Park has also gone through quite a renovation. It looks great and has become a central area for the city again. If I have my facts straight it is second only to Central Park in NY in size for an urban park.

Go Cards! Thumbs Up

Thanks Jo!
Yeah..Forest Park. You helped spur the ole brain! Great memories of muddy spring pitches, greatly fought matches and food and friends on that road trip.
We did also go downtown to the Washington University area to some of the local haunts there. Great times!
Thanks for filling some of the blanks for an old player.
and by the way...Go Rockies!  Thumbs Up  Cheers  LOL  LOL  LOL
