The Blues and Bluegrass...heres the thing, when you write words you can send them to any genera. I wrote a Blues tune and then recorded it and after review, it sounds much better as a Bluegrass song. Words, my songs just words and the genre changes from Folk to Blues to Bluegrass.

my sister whom I have not shared time with in a long while will be here to visit with her beautiful husband and I was thinking how wonderful to share with her some of the more important things in my life in just 1 short week. I want to bring her to Sunday Folk fest. It is the most perfect way for me to share. I hope there are 3 Sunday tickets. She plays the guitar and I know she will be so inspired by all of you.

I must say after review of the lineup it is hard to just pick one day for me.

The most beautiful thing about a song, is it holds memories.

My sister and I have not seen each other in years and last night we sang songs from our youth and each song held a memory and would make us tear.

So many memories locked in a song.

Steve and Brian on stage has got to be the #1 showcase this Fest season. You go ! It is so exceptional that the staff and owners are as in love with music as all of us that attend. Inspired by you. Crazy good PBG!

I am finishing a song this morning and trying to create a bridge and it sounds really pretty. I can see I have improved and even though I do not get to dedicate myself fully to this craft it is very rewarding to see myself grow and still want to explore the craft of music, I am reminded however slight today that people can be very critical about the smallest detail and I am still learning how to ingest that, hold that. feel that and be ok with it. Not just ok, unaffected and cool still being able to deliver. I think a thick skin is required to be in front of a crowd of people.

Singing and playing and singing and playing the same songs over and over and you would think that it gets boring but I noticed each time it sounds much cleaner then the time before,
 I can play this song forever till it sparkles with clarity

 I use t think folks on tour how do they do the same tunes and never get bored. Now I know.

Give me faith in mankind and love that's blind till it hurts and you say forever more. I choose life, and love and acceptance.

It was heartbreaking to see the President cry and this is so symbolic of how many feel...

A full moon and cannot sleep . I pick up my 40 year Anniversary TBF Book and BOOM! So many memories locked in those pages and I was there for almost all of that wonderful music.

I am going to be 61 this Summer and just want to thank PBG for so many wonderful memories.

Just outstanding! Great book!
