Greensky Bluegrass gets my vote. I heard an Archive.org recording of theirs where they jam on Flying Cloud Cotillion. Awesome. it was hours before I stopped pressing repeat.

Yonder and Greensky Bluegrass on the same bill would be something to see.

I too would love to see Greensky doing something in telluride this year! main stage would be nice as well as nightgrass somewhere

Hells yeah!
Lets finally pass the torch and give these guys an Opera House show!
They are blowing up in the rest of the country. I think they could sell that place out in a heart beat. They also seem like one of those bands that knows how to throw a party and invite all of their friends to play with them (RRE, YMSB, etc) Wow i am getting excited jus thinking about it. lol

They are doing a Colorado Ski Tour soon, too, so maybe that will get them on the TBF bill again.

I don't think a Nightgrass at the Sheridan is in the cards this year, but I think they'd blow it up at the Moon or Las Montanas. Sheridan is usually the Telluride Vets(ie, YMSB, Drew, Thile, etc), but I'm really hoping for a RRE Sheridan this year.

Yeah, RRE at the Sheridan gets my vote. They just keep getting better and better!I also wanted to say that David Byrne is really an exciting addition to this year's line up. I've never seen him in person before. Can't wait!!!

Bonnie Raitt and The SubDudes are touring right now also (hint, hint!)...not together, of course.  Thumbs Up

Gaelic Storm is long overdue to TBF

They were in the movie Titanic in the scene where Jack takes Rose to the Steerage class (downstairs)
and shows her "his people" .  This is where the community party and everyone is dancing and drinkin
and playing

There has always been an synergy between Bluegrass and Irish music
Gaelic Storm will tear it up,  worth the price of admission.

We ran into Tye North a few months ago who said he busted his hand up pretty good in a biking accident. I don't know if he's back to playing much if at all yet.

Wave I know that Darol is coming to West Marin on labor day weekend,it will be in a small venue (175 seats) with a killer sound system and engineer. Maybe y'all will just have to come have a campout at my house... EEK!
