This just in from one of our spies: Brittany Haas is an amazing fiddler. Four strings are not enough for this girl, she has five.... Hey Folks: I'm boasting for her... because one of our friend's most amazing kids is going to be appearing on Saturday Night Live in 3 days. Britt's playing with host Steve Martin. She's the fiddler on his new album, to be released (Jan. 31?) Saturday night anyway. Aint' that cool! Way to go!

Musical guest is Jason Mraz...who I think is a great talent. ...stick around for him. (I'm excited to see Steve pick, too) Is that to say what I think it is? I don't think it is. He did my least favorite song on the album...but I thought he played it pretty well. I'm just not really into the kid song. I thought Jason Mraz was great.
