I am organizing a bicycle tour that goes to 5 festivals in 8 weeks. The itinerary is like this:
Begin June 2nd, 2009
Crested Butte (or your home town) -> Pagosa Springs, Folks n Bluegrass Fest,
Pagosa -> Palisade Bluegrass Fest (Near Grand Junction)
Palisade -> Telluride Bluegrass Fest
Telluride -> Buffalo, WY (Northern Wyoming), Bighorn Mnt Fest
Buffalo Wy -> RockyGrass, Lyons Co
Lyons, CO -> Crested Butte (or your hometown)
End July 30th (or there abouts)
In all it's about 1759 miles and 8 weeks or so of cycling and festivating. It's free and will not be supported by any vehicles. This is a grassroots group effort to combine the love of bluegrass music with the desire to reduce our impact to the planet.
