So the beers out..............
Ok so it would have to be "stream side"
then we could re-circulate the water back to its source.
Maybe we could make it a competition on how many beers you can kill on your way down? Or for the non drinkers, maybe who can complete the most elaborate meal
while traveling 25mph downhill over total distance of 1000ft .
I mean come on there sober?????
I think thats like 4 or 5 seconds?

I'm a can do kinda girl,,, perhaps a souffle' Medal LOL

Everyone seems to be mentioning clothes for when it gets cold, but during the day it gets real hot, so bring something cool that covers a decent amount of skin so as not to get burned, also sun screen is a must, I found that sandals are the most comfortable footwear as everything else is too hot, also a spray bottle filled with water helps to cool you down, and your neighbors love it!!!! Drink LOTS of water, it's free after all!!!!

- Sparkly things are always good.

- Quarters for the campground showers.

- Running shoes for the Landrush.

- Hangover helper

Hope that helps!!!

Festivarians Frolic Frequently

If you cruise the titles of the posts, there are several that have "things to know, Town Park virgins, Packing for Telluride, etc"  These threads have great information for what to expect, contribute, bring.

Another way to get up to speed is on the very first page of the forum, slide to the bottom of the page.  There's a little section about Forum Stats - last post etc.  Click on more stats and you will see a list of the top threads.

That would be a good start.   Cheers

Great tip, Courtness... As we all know, THE GREAT DUKTAPE KAPER thread is very important. It is a good warning for all festivarians to keep those coolers locked!

I dont think any of us have it in our hearts too let you be put in a corner for others entertainment. That is unless we are all participating in some crazy drinking game or something of the like.
I think you might have just started something????????????

Actually, I think you will find that everyone will be more than helpful to make sure you are adequately equipped.. In fact, if you let us know what you can't travel with- there will be offers of extras and loaners to make sure you are equipped perfectly.

I would agree with Debbie.
Just let people know what you cant bring and Im sure everyone will chip in.
Its a great way to meet new friends!
Maybe we should start a new thread and call it "HOOK UPS"
So that people can make such arrangements for rides, food, gear or too just see that person you met last year.
Just a thought?
But I will have room for extra gear if you need anything just ask.
I have about 2-3 of everything you could possibly need for a decent camp.
You have to buy your own duct tape though!

I play on a Morel mushroom forum pretty regularly and we try every year to schedule hunts with people we meet through the forum.
Nothing is better than putting a face with a name.
