Hi all.  Forum newbie here. (But two-time TBF-er back in 96 & 97)

Got my passes (yay), but no vehicle pass (gulp).  Which I didn't even realize was a possibility - my bad I suppose.  But since "camp" is a VW bus, it puts a serious hitch in the plans.

How often do vehicle passes come up for sale post-lottery?  Can they be had via any other avenues?

I got the "regret" letter as well.

Is it too early to post looking for tickets?

Camp Billy is having a very bad day.  Lots of bad news spreading about getting shut out, and no good news.

From the Monday morning after the Festival until we have tickets in hand has always been my least favorite part of the year.  The anxiety of not having my ticket secured drives me crazy.  I know it all works out, and positive thoughts will lead me to the Promised Land.  But it would almost me less painful to just abandon hope here and now.  At least then there would be certainty.

But if I do that, would I ever return?

My...I am pessimistic today

Don't count on it! EEK!
Vehicle passes in Town Park are held like diamonds, as they are rare and almost impossible to come by. Plan on tent camping!

Once the Town Park lottery is done (we weren't picked!) are there at least enough tickets left for the festival that we can buy tickets on the 10th and still plan on camping at one of the other campgrounds? We're first-timers and certainly understand the disappointment but the vibe is like now people can't go at all. If so, why are there three other campgrounds, hotel roooms, etc. How many tickets remain after Town Park. Been planniing this for a year and a half!

Oh there's plenty of tickets and plenty of space.

But for those of us that have been residents of Town Park for 20+ years, it's impossible to imagine camping anywhere else for the Festival.  it's in our blood.

I sent you a PM to explain what's up.... Plenty of close camping and tickets... Flower

Hey Dustin, what were the stats of this year's lottery?  How many people entered, etc?

Oh my gosh - I am so excited. Just found out we got Town Park passes. This will be my first Telluride experience. I did Rockygrass for the first time last year and loved it. Yahooooo!
