How did the boy's from Chi Town sound? Tangle Weed. Was it traditional Bluegrass?

Did the Tangle Weed bass player have a home made instrument?  huh

If it's who I think it was, then yes traditional. I thought all the bands were pretty traditional. Such talent in the comp. How do the judges make a determination. I don't want that job.  EEK!
