I am not exactly sure how the on-site camping works. I understand that we can get in a line on Thursday am and at 6:00 pm they will let us into the campground.  What about tickets? My tickets will not be arriving until Friday morning.  Do I need to have a ticket on Thursday pm to get into the campground?  Any advice is appreciated.

The tickets were sent as a barcode that was emailed to the purchaser.

Have the holder of the ticket forward you that email, which you would then be able to print out and have with you when you arrive. Flower

Howdy Y'all-

I, too, am a first year Rockygrass attendee this year with on-site camping and a vehicle pass. Having missed the 35th TBF, I am especially stoked.  Thumbs Up Based on what I have read, I probably wasted cash on the vehicle pass. Anyhoo, I am trying to get a sense for when I should arrive on Thursday. Sounds like if I roll into Lyons at 6pm, I will have a hard time getting a fairly desirable spot...in addition to battling dusk to get my campsite set up. huh What time would you suggest I arrive to get in line?   Thanks in advance!

We arrived last year mid afternoon (2pm-ish?) and didn't have any trouble getting a spot in the car-free area...don't know how it is in the other area.

Folks have been getting to the lot to line up since last Friday and camping out in the car line for the anticipated opening at 6pm Thursday.  If you can get your car in line the sooner the better...

The line is in Bohn Park for the cars to get into the onsite lot for Thursday.  Take 2nd Ave south off of Main St and Bohn Park is on the right (south of the softball fields).
