Can anyone with experience tell me what day parking every day and taking the gondola is like. Is parking a major pain? what time do I need to get to the garage to park everyday. I have airbnb accommodations not far away, but I also have a camping pass for Lawson Hill...is 'day parking' there an option and taking the shuttle? Any advice for a noob would be greatly appreciated.

If you are camping at Lawson Hill, you will park your car when you unload and not use it to drive to the Festival as there is a shuttle bus that goes every 15 minutes. This is not a place to park and ride though. For that, continue on up the hill to Mountain Village and catch the gondola. It is an easy 12 minute ride. Parking should be easy as well. There is a parking garage and then I believe there will be parking along the roadsides as directed by Bluegrass staff.
