Still have plans on going to all 5 festivals.

I "should" be well protected with vaccines+++. Plus Telluride has a safe entry policy. Freshgrass and Old Settlers also have safe entry policies.
Not sure about Hillberry or Bloomin.

I'm not doing any shows indoors.

As of today, fingers crossed. Festivals still scheduled to happen.

1. Telluride Blues Sept. 17-19.
2. Freshgrass Oct. 1-2
3. Hillberry Festival Oct. 7-10
4. Old Settlers Oct. Oct. 21-24
5. Bloomin Bluegrass Oct. 15-16 Dallas

Hillberry probably won't have any safety protocols, its bare minimum security as is. Nice area, but I won't go back, it's kinda trashed out. More of the drug seeking party crowd than the musical appreciation crowd. They get great acts though, and there's always some great folks there, just not my scene. Guess we've been 3 times.

How come they don't turn the banjo up?

Looking forward to seeing you and Monica in Bentonville.

Thanks for the info on Hillberry. This will be my first Hillberry.
They have a great lineup and looking forward to seeing the
Stringdusters again. I can avoid the "drug" crowd. I rarely
smoke anything during music so I can stay focused on the music.

Sure hope we can sit together for Freshgrass.

Headed out the door Wednesday 9/15 for Telluride Blues.

Hey Todd, I had never heard about Hillberry before. I found it off of the Stringdusters website.
I saw they were playing Eureka Springs on Friday after Freshgrass. Since I'm already in
the "neighborhood" I said why not.

Hey, when you get a chance please list the festivals I should checkout. You have told me about
several but I cannot ever remember.
Thanks!

Telluride Blues update.

Some great news from San Miguel CO yesterday. Two weeks before the festival they came out with a face mask mandate during the festival.
That tells me they fully support a safe festival in two weeks.
