These people are frickin' serious!

In response to the original Bacon Explosion: two pounds of bacon woven through and around two pounds of sausage and slathered in barbecue sauce with the addition of cheese and egg, wrapped in croissant dough.

Hmm... Bacon Bar... now thats an idea. Sorta like a wine bar, except they serve all manner of fine bacon and bacon related foods. And the staff would be trained at pairing different beer with bacon

Hey Dustin!  Any chance of getting those folks into the vendor area this year???

Hooch .....Dude!
with all the Bacon we are bringing ....Why ????

Well....because.  Ya know?  Like, we *could* haul bacon from the campground into the festival if we sort of plan ahead, pick a volunteer mule to transport it all, and then use a magnifying glass and the sun to re-heat it.  Or, we could go for convenience and have a bacon vendor.  It's the same thing as why they have beer inside the fest even though we will have approximately 4,687 gallons of it at Run-A-Muck alone....let alone WanderIn.

ok Hooch old Buddy Im with you now !

Holy Vegetarian Platter, Batman!!!  God, I hope I die from something like that instead of dying from something dumb like old age.

For some reason the Double Bacon Hamburger Fatty Melt strikes my fancy today.  Don't know why...maybe it's the bacon or possibly the crispy Texas Toast lid on the whole caboodle.

I am sooo not gonna touch this.... It might bite me.

Yes indeed.... Bacon.... I think Jess needs to bring her frying thing to the oyster feed. Can you say bacon wrapped deep fried oysters dipped in tequila chili sauce ???? Oh yeah, I can.

So I really think we all need to get organized and have a bacon morning in town park. What do you say we all get together and have about 100 pounds of bacon hit the skillets at the same moment?

NOW THAT WOULD BE A WAKE UP CALL.

Count me in.  I'll bring it over and fry whatever you want.  I'm thinking that during the Homebrew tasting I'll set up by the picnic tables near the showers and deep fry a couple turkeys that day.

Some folks in England just staged an huge turnout at some train station.  They had thousands of people show up with I-pods and just start dancing.  It was all organized through Facebook.

Jerry, you have a great idea here.  Why limit it to just Telluride?  What if we started a Facebook movement and got millions of people around the country outside frying bacon at the appointed moment?

Why not awaken the whole country to the wafting scent of bacon?
