Wow!  that "log" looks wonderfully delicious!  I'll give the recipe a whirl on my smoker.  If it's as good as it looks, I'll prep. and vacume-seal a few to bring out to TBF this summer...

 :pig   Seems there is an International Bacon Day (as well there should be!) (and not to be confused with Talk like a Pirate Day!  aaaarrrrrgggghhh!!!  Pirate)

Bacon Day is held on the Saturday before Labor Day......This years date is : Sept. 5th!    Hooray!

I'm up for it Kaptain!  I'm already planning on bringing a stupid amount of bacon, so way as well weave it into a basket and stuff it with sausage.
