Great list, especially for us newbies.

I didn't see bug spray/lotion.  What are the flies, mosquitos, etc.  like ?

I know I mentioned this in another thread somewhere.
It depends on the season. I have seen years where the mosquito population has been big, but most times it's not bad.
As a precaution, bring some insect repellent.

For you bigger camps that are big enough but too small to bring the kitchen sink: Here's an idea. 

Get black cement mixing tubs from the local hardware store to wash dishes in.  They seem perfect but my camp is not quite big enough for them.

Speaking of chairs - does anyone have any suggestions?  Preferably for those with a little more "junk in the trunk"?  Just a little...   

We purchased one of those lawn chairs that you can carry on your back, and my husband loves it but it doesn't work for me.  I am just looking for something that meets "specifications" for the fest and is comfortable.

Any suggestions?

I have a wide assortment of chairs in the front yard... Just make sure that the chair you choose is low back and short enough that a basketball won't roll under it.   

I like to take a cold beverage, boombox, and tarp into the store. Choose a chair, roll out tarp, crack cold beverage, and crank Sam Bush or Bela or Tim... on the boombox. Sit in chair and hoot with gusto between songs. If that chair is uncomfortable, choose another and repeat the process.   

Eventually you will find a comfortable festival chair

OMG Hippie!!  I listed the front yard and the roof as fest-sitting training, but you've taken it to another level!  If chosen correctly, a store does a much better job of providing a "festival" type atmosphere as far as people walking by, etc.

You are going to be in great shape for TBF, my friend!  Great shape!

OK, so let's say that I am not the most expierenced camper. My camping is usually 2 nights max. I have read this over and have a few preguntas? I know I will underpack and forget something! If I run out of food at my camp, is there a grocer in town? Are there ice machines in the camping area? Illium camping? Is there a general store where I can overpay for something I forgot to pack? What types of grills are allowed? Gas only?

Any help is greatly appreciated. I just know as the excitment of packing and leaving grows closer, I am going to forget numerous items. Help a rookie out would ya?

There's a couple grocery stores in town and you can get ice there, as well as at the Shell station just outside town or the station by Society turn. I don't know if they'll have ice available at Ilium or not. Generally speaking, gas grills are fine. I know that wood fires/grills aren't allowed in town, but I think charcoal is acceptable as long as you're careful with the ashes. We don't want any hot ashes being put where they don't belong.
There's also a hardware store for any other necessities you may have forgotten.

  ok....Here's a VERY important one for the women!  I'm not sure if anybody has mentioned this yet.     Bring Aunt Flow gear!   High altitude can mysteriously bring her visit so don't forget to pack yer gear!

You really need to do something about that techno soundtrack tha seems to be haunting you this past few days. Can you just slip something into their drinks?

I have made my managerial decision (I have to do these things now) to eliminate the club/trance crap on days that i work,  so this means that i have to sort of  fire or dismiss  the present DJ and replace his Thur.-Fri spot with  Metal Thurs. & Punk Friday  .....that should solve the problem! 
Counting down the days!!!!!      It's over 100 here somewhere around 105 today

Come now people! There is one rule of thumb that we can all go by: All services are available in T-ride, can't think of a single thing you can't get that would help you get by!

You can always (and I mean always ) throw money at a problem until the problem goes away!
