New Belgium Brewery Rocks!!!  The perfect beer for a perfect festival...I can walk over to Oskar's and sample their brews at the end of the show.

And let me just shout from the highest mountain in agreement:  BRING BACK THE BLUE PADDLE!!!

New Belgium is a great company, but I prefer Odells products any day of the week.  I wish New Belgium would make some hoppy beers.  What's the deal with that?  I'm bummed they discontinued Loft in favor of the Skinny Dip.  Skinny Dip is good, but not at the expense of killing Loft.    At least I can still buy a Dale's in a can at the festival to get my hop fix.  My $0.02

While I agree that it would be nice if NBB had a hoppy beer...it wouldn't be a "belgium beer" if they did. I don't believe any traditional belgium beers are excessively hoppy as we in the US have come to love.

Fat Tire is about as hoppy as New Belguim gets IMO, and it's one of my favorites.

I see your point Dustin, but not all New Belgian beers are nessecarily "Belgian" style beers like Saison or Trippel.   For example,  Pilsners I associate more with Germany, although there are belgian pilsners too.  Anyhow, here's to good ol' hoppy american pale ales and IPA's!!

Stouts and Porters in the winter...Absolutely.  In the summer...not so much.

Loft used to be a great minimally hopped wheat.  If anyone at New Belgium is reading this, PLEASE BRING LOFT BACK!!!

Speaking of IPAs, if anyone is in the Bay Area, the 21st Amendment in San Francisco just put their Double Trouble, Imperial IPA on tap for a limited time.

And the ballpark has replaced Red Hook with Lagufuckinitas IPfuckinA across the board....an acceptable arrangement.

I'm headin' to both joints in a couple hours...may be a wee bit twisted.

Yeah, I hear you Tom.  It's hard to drink California Beers when we live in Colorado and have so many great CO beers.  I guess that falls under the "drink locally" discussion mentioned earlier.   I live in Fort Collins, so it's not hard to drink locally whatsoever!!!

I know, it's cheap but not bad on a limited income.

LOL!  I worked at Coors when I first  moved to Colorado and went to the School of Mines.
It's definitely a local beer, just a mass-produced local beer.  I honestly don't mind it on real hot day.  Sometimes it just hits the spot.
