Let's Pick!

My wife and I have two 2020 TP and festival tickets that will now roll over to 2022.  We decided last year that we'd go to Telluride in 2021--if there's a 2021 festival we'd go to it, if not we'd just hang out, do some hiking, etc.  So we've got our plane tickets and a place to stay in town.  What's a good way for me to hook up with  folks to form or join a corral, hopefully before they go on sale in two days?
If its anything like years past, then the entire town will be barricaded, and only residents and festival ticket holders will be allowed entry.

How come they don't turn the banjo up?

I think PB did a real good job here trying to be as fair as possible to everyone. The infusion of cash will help keep PB afloat and pay the artists and crew, all of which have probably gone through hard times.
Only two questions for the group. I thought there would be some sort of option for purchase by locals. Seems that is no longer the case. The only way you will get a ticket is purchasing a pod, right? And the entry for the lottery for those pods is based on whether you rolled tickets over or not.
Second question that needs clarity. Whoever gets lucky enough to buy a pod or two for 7K, or camping, needs to show up in person with the credit card used and a photo ID. So, no matter who is in your pod, the person that bought the tickets must be physically present to pick them up, right? This will definitely impact any scalpers, but what happens if that person who purchased the tickets can no longer attend? You can't just get into the lottery to buy tickets for others in your group.
Anyway, this should be an interesting time for all. Good luck.  Cheers

Craig & PB have been adamant in all town meetings & social media responses about still allocating tickets for locals, but haven't heard or seen any logistics for that anywhere.

As far as the 2nd question, no clue! That's an interesting point. I'm willing to bet they'd accept transfers on a case by case basis, but don't want to advertise that you can do it to avoid everyone just buying to get rid of the pod.  huh

It's possible they just won't have all the corrals available for selection on Friday and hold them back for a locals sale.

So, do we know if they really did take Bear Creek away?

it appears they did leave off Bear Creek Preserve this year for TP camping, which is strange because they got approved by the town to use it.
