Anyone know what day the deetz are dropping?!?

Can’t wait to figure it all out!   Cheers

I would hope this week. It's confirmed that its going to be held over 2 weekends though, with music going 5-10pm each day. Dierks Bentley just announced he's playing weekend 1.

Planet Bluegrass, you folks willing to toss corral violators to preserve the fest for everyone else???
Everyone knows Dirks' fans don't adhere to the Festivarian Code of Conduct.

Don't get me wrong, I love Dirks 100%.
How about rescheduling Dirks to close the 2nd Sunday, and we all cross our fingers those fans don't get us alll banned from Telluride forever.

More questions than answers from that update.

So it’s a 10 person pod onsale?

250 pods at 4K a piece?

Or how does that work?

Right, good questions, and if you're 2 people with tickets rolled over, how do you find the rest of your pod?

I can't imagine they will be $4000 a pod.   I figure less than half that.  Per weekend.  But who knows what people craving live music will go for after so long.

K, all speculation, but I was guessing it almost have to be at least 2,500 per pod, probably more, then what about camping??? How much are the 6 person pods for single shows in Lyons? I assume that many folks will try and get both weekends, and do all 4 days (insert winking Sam Bush here). There may be restrictions of having to choose one weekend or another. There's no way we could do either at this point, we have to have 3 months advance for taking more than a few days off work, but it's been exciting watching it unfold and feeling the excitement in the air that live music is being re-born! Best of luck to festivarians I hope all of you get pod tickets! And, if you don't mind, put a little positivity out into the world, Monica's Dad is losing a battle with cancer, but not giving up the fight, he could use some strong worldly positive energy. Thanks, love all you fine folks!

I dunno.  Maybe.  But for a full pod that would be $250 per weekend per person.   $500 a person seems like a lot for a scaled back fest.  But people would probably pay that so who knows. Maybe we should start a pod price pool and the prize can be 1st in line for the tarp run next year.  I'm gonna go with $1750 per pod per weekend.   LOL

I listened/watched the Council work session on special events today.  The only takeaway was that Town Park camping will be limited to 400 people.  I also think they mentioned that the primitive area past Bear Creek will not be used, but I may be wrong.

Does that mean only 40 pods out of 250 will get camping passes?  We'll soon know.

Just think how much room that would be!  Will be interesting to see if camps are supposed to be in pods as well with sites marked out.

Todd, the Lyon's pods were 50/head for PhAb last weekend (200 for 4 person pod, 100 for a 2 person add on, so 300/6people). This is a bump up from the usual prices. Judging that a 4 day TP is in the 250 ballpark every year, I would assume that these tickets would be closer to the 300/head mark? Still have no idea how they are going to sort out day selection, camping, etc. Hoping for some direction at some point soon so we can figure out if/how we can make it work for our larger group of 20ish.

It was $250 for a 4 day weekend (actually think it was more than that) but this is scaled back and over two weekends and you are only allowed tickets for one weekend.   I would definitely say over $3000 for both weekends, but the pods are only good for one weekend.  And I don't think the music starts until late afternoon.  Or at least that's what I thought I saw.   $600+ per person for basically the same amount of music as the original 4 day seems like a lot.  But I bet plenty of people would pay it.

Will also be interesting to see if they allow camping  between weekends , since theoretically you are only supposed to be able to buy tickets for one weekend... I am assuming to allow more people to attend with the limited crowd size.
