I love them getting this slot.

I'm anticipating a Greensky night grass conflict.  I can't imagine myself missing ISD closing or missing GSBG at the Palm.  Good problems to have!

I've seen them absolutely blow the crowd away and seen them completely miss the mark. Hopefully Saturday is the former.

Their afternoon set in 2018 was one of my favorites.

Last year at Bluegrass in the bottoms KC, they moved ISD indoors due to weather. They were rotating the crowd back and forth to 2 small indoor venues next to each other. We timed getting there, about an hour b4 ISD's set. Got some food, and camped out on a great spot 10 feet from the stage. I've seen them several times, and they tore the place down. Andy Hall was fire that night!

Dang, I've seen them a bunch but I've never seen them "completely miss the mark". Glad I missed that show. ;-)

All relative of course. The folks around me seemed to be having a good time. I just wasn't feeling it that day.

I interviewed Andy Hall yesterday and they are really stoked about the Saturday night gig. The band is clicking on all cylinders IMO. It has been great to watch the band grow and evolve. Their songwriting is very strong and they have always been excellent players.
I expect a great set.
