Yarn is cool. An old friend who past used to help them with booking and promotions early on.

I'm hoping 1 or more of these will be in the final announcement: Bad Livers, Sierra Hull, Bruce Hornsby, or John Fulbright.

I wonder if they would book Bela's newest project, My Bluegrass Heart with Bela, Billy, Michael Cleveland, Sierra, & Mark Schatz. They don't have any dates before Sept, so unlikely, but hey this is the guessing game!

Fullbright is one of the best writers out there. What a talent!

I would have put my money on Bela's new project that Zack posted on. But this recent tweet seems to indicate Watermelon will be first date .... or does it say that? Maybe I'll be keeping my fingers too! Clap

That show is in September. They have another in October. Thats why I added Sierra Hull, should have added Michael Cleveland. I know Flamekeepers have open dates for most of June.
But Sierra Hull has one gig in SC on Saturday of festival.

Am I the only one where single-day breakdowns and lineup additions are????

From a little research, in 2018 they were released February 8th. Anyone have insight as to when they were last year?

As far as I can tell through the years the final additions have either slowly come out through a series of announcements, or in one big dump. Either way they've happened as early as early February to mid-late March. 4 day passes are long gone along with FRiday and Saturday single tickets, so I'm guessing something gets released soon. Most other summer festivals have released full line-ups so I'm guessing we should see activity soon.

Last year it was the first week of March. We’re definitely in the “any time now” phase. Releases can rely on a lot of things, from contractual non-compete clauses with the acts not yet announced to final details getting ironed out, etc., but I’m sure the Planet is itching to get the info to us, too!

Australia activated the pandemic emergency plan today so the only guessing game I’m playing is “ will I see any of the bands I love who are due to tour here in the next two months? “  plus topped up with “ will we be travelling overseas this year. “ ..........send positive thoughts!

This is evolving into a serious situation, one that may impact the festival itself. Travel restrictions and possible border closures will impact the artists and attendees. If restrictions are placed on large public gatherings, the festival itself could be shut down. Let’s hope we can all stay healthy and travel to CO this year.

Got my fingers crossed for you! Trump says it will all be over by April, he knows the greatest facts. And for once I'm hopeful that what he says will be true. Stay safe out there folks. Drink lots of water!

In the next two months I have tickets to see Greensky, Brandi Carlile, Patti Smith, Rhiannon Giddens and Miley Cyrus in Australia - it’s pretty much my dream line up. I cannot believe that this might be threatened - but I feel incredibly guilty complaining because there are so many bigger issues of life and death facing communities.

Ps I do not believe anything your President says I’m sorry.

To add to the plagues and locusts, California is about to have an Ozzie Fire season.  Our dry February is the first since Abe Lincoln was president (I do trust most of what he said).  The ground is cracked when it should be muddy puddles.  Luckily last years water is stored in reservoirs, but...

Ironically, the Corona virus may have a secondary effect.  If people react by overusing hand sanitizer, we may breed even stronger bugs.

But about that guessing game, I'll go way out on a limb and say Aoife O'Donovan and a Crooked Still reunion.  Her schedule is empty that weekend so far.  They played a mini tour late last year. Brit is already on the bill.

I want to make a joke about Mikey Cyrus, but she is playing the bushfire benefit so good on her.

Wow that is quite the lineup of shows for you over the next couple of months.  I really hope everything regarding the virus turns out well.

It's probably smart that you don't believe anything that the United States Pres has to say, I live here and have to take everything he says with a grain of salt...I think it is horrible he put Pence in charge but honestly it really couldn't be worse than Trump himself being "in charge" I mean it is clear the man knows nothing when he speaks...he is comparing it to the modern flu when it is probably a thousand fold more dangerous than the common flu. I mean I wouldn't be surprised if the Olympics are cancelled if science can't save us, but even a broken clock is right two times a day.  In this case experts say that we should have a vaccine in a few months...hopefully science can save us once again.

Oh and PS "He is not my President" he black mailed a nation and got away with it...he denies science with his climate change stance to ensure those around him profit..he abuses women. I mean the list could go on for days but i'll very clearly state "No es mi presidente!"

As far as the guessing game I have been thinking Crooked seems most likely at this point..guess we find out tomorrow.

I am very worried that most of our planned festivals and large public events won’t take place in the next few months so as to protect public health. I truly hope I’m wrong ( how much I would mourn missing festival ) but it’s not looking promising. I pray that I’m wrong. Telluride is the high point of my year.

Stay safe Festival family, wash your hands, don’t touch your face, be kind to others, look after yourself,  your friends and family.

Be safe, I managed SARS and AI, this looks bigger to me.  💙💚💙💚
