Very strong release by a major player on the string band scene.  Out on Paddidle Records, co-produced by Critter Eldridge and engineered under the loving gloves of Nashville legend Dave Sinko, this is getting glorious praise from the gate.  The band worked very quickly to record this release, completing the basic tracks in just four days.

Brittany Haas, Paul Kowert, Dominick Leslie, and Jordan Tice are building new layers of strata that take wing , swoop and dive unexpectedly and always keep the listener on their toes.

It's raptorous music for times of uncertainty.  Catch Hawktail on one of their many tour dates this spring and at TELLURIDE in June.  (Thank you Brian!)

Looking forward to getting a copy of this, and seeing their performance.

How come they don't turn the banjo up?
