Does anyone ever bring a telescope to Town Park? I would love to take a peek if someone will have one set up! I'm flying in so my telescope won't be traveling with me. I'm bringing my binoculars though!
There will be a full moon during TBF but I would love to see what is visible at a higher latitude and altitude.

I've seen spotting scopes, but nothing of any major size for terrestrial viewing so far.
They've mostly just been used to see the stage members from afar.

I haven't seen anyone with a telescope at the festival. But star gazing is great and later this month Jupiter is supposed to be close enough to see it's moons with binoculars and it's clouds with a good telescope.

Star gazing is great and will see satellites, shooting stars, etc.  & that is even without the aid of a crunchy frog!
