Don't forget JJ's part in The New Basement Tapes, the band for which included Marcus Mumford and Rhiannon Giddens.  There's a solid possibility that he'll tailor his show for the crowd and the setting given his participation in the past with some musicians whose work is more aligned with what we expect at TBF.

Then again, there's simply no way his set could be more entertaining than this thread!

Then again Bevin there is a solid possibility that he won’t tailor his show for the crowd in the slightest too.

Two weeks till we leave Australia baby.

The feeling is mutual AF and hope to get the chance to meet you in person too  Flower

Not sure where this whole "dissertation" thing got started ... since I'm not really one to talk a lot IRL  LOL

Regardless, thank you for your interest in the topic!  I suppose I could share with everyone my very first cassette tape of a show that roped me in ("China -> Rider" in particular):

I suggest we all meet at the beer tent the first day of the festival at noon near the corner of the beer tent and the drink tent.
Even I will try to remember it this time.  Wink

One thing that hasn't been on the calendar in a few years that everyone seems to have forgotten, is the Festivarian Photo Shoot.
We all got together at the corner of the Country Store for a huge group picture, and sometimes had random passerby's grab everyone's camera for a shot.
If we follow our standard procedure we've used over the years it would happen immediately after the Leftover Salmon set on Thursday.
If this is to be successful, we need to remind everyone during the Leftover set or they'll forget. Flower
