Malort is a very acquired taste. Those of the midwest may have an easier time with it. Its been a few years but I think I'll stand by my original take.

I do not know. In our experience in sharing it, 1 in 50 don't hate it.  I guess we do it for experimental purposes.  I am pretty sure it cures diseases. Just not sure which ones.

My lil bro brought a bottle down for our buddy's 21st and of course

It's still in his cabinet, full bottle (minus 3 shots) and hes about to be 27. Theres a real good reason it's been there so long.  It's like gargling Arrid deodorant and used  kitty litter.

I am with ya on this..  CF over malort any day...

Compared to Malort, CF is a vintage bouquet of Bacchus, the nirvana beverage of the Grand Junction vineyards.   Cheers
