Howdy Beer Lovers. If you can find yourself in Town Park Tuesday pre-festival mosy on over to the waterfall and join in on what I hope will be another amazing beer share.

Tentatively scheduled for noon, at the waterfall in TP on Tuesday. Bring some craft brew from your favorite local brewery, those bottles you've had stashed in your closet for a special occasion, this is it! Kegs are always welcome, along with growlers, crowlers, homebrew etc... You'll want to have a small tasting glass, and if you'd like to participate but don't have beers to offer maybe you could bring finger foods, or snacks or food of any kind. Chime in if you can help with bringing extra tables, water, cups etc...
I'll be bringing a few of my favorite Okie beers and a couple special beers I picked up in Texas and Missouri.

If there are any conflicts with the time, or if in general more people would prefer it later in the day, I'd say the time is pretty flexible, I was trying to stay with what has traditionally been the homebrew and recently beer share time slot.

This spring we've spent our free time trying to fix our old tractor, and running cattle off our property, so I failed at brewing any homebrew.

I'm very much in for this again!  If we get kegs, I have a 2 tap jockey box I can bring so we don't have to use one of those crappy pumps.  Just let me know if I should bring it along!

Music & travel & beer... not always in that order.

Lucas, can you put that jockey box on hold until closer in. Crossroads said they were planning on bringing one, but if that falls through maybe you could still bring yours.  Medal

Didn't you guys bring some killer big stouts last year? I remember talking with you about beers.

That certainly sounds like me. We did bring a lot of beers and plenty of big stouts. We have some great offerings in AZ.

We will be there on Saturday this year so we will be loading up even more. If you know of anything from our area you'd like, just let me know.

I don't think we get any AZ brews in Oklahoma at all. I'll be bringing a bunch of Oklahoma brewery one offs, and limited runs from the last two years.

Hey everybody, whats the general consensus on pushing the Brew share time from 11:59am to 12:59pm? That gives folks a chance to get a proper lunch in their bellies. If this is a problem and encroaching on another events timeline, I'm sure noon works just fine, but what do yall think?

We'll make sure and have a few tables set up, with a water rinsing/drinking station. Please try and bring your own re-usable cup for sampling. I use a little 4oz snifter. I'm sure there will be a few extra cups for those without, but remember thats just more work for someone else, so please bring your own.

If you don't have brews to share but want to contribute bring some finger foods/snack food.

Also our buddy David who is our festy virgin we're bringing along will try and whip up a "campground band" to pick during the brew share. If your a picker bring it on.

The sun is a little high in the sky during this time and though there is patchy shade at the waterfall area, it might be nice if someone has an extra easy-up for some extra shade.

Cheers everyone, can't wait to see you all!  Cheers

Superstition Meadery in Prescott, Az. has world class mead. I would love to try the Straw Berry White, but at 85$ a BOTTLE a girl can only dream.

Hey Todd, just got on the Forum today after a long break. HulaGanz can provide:

10'x10' pop-up canopy
1 or 2 folding tables
giveaway koozies
rinse water
swill buckets
trash container
recycling container for glass & aluminum
extra coolers with ice
(kinda like last year)

I'll go through my GABF volunteer beer booty and pull some brew (mostly bombers) but not like last year since World Beer Cup is every two years.

I think we could reach out to Avery Brewing and see if they might 'donate' some of their foil series to the cause. We could fly one of their banners and maybe they can contribute a sleeve or two of cups. Just a thought.

Paul

I know some folks over there and would be happy to reach out to them if you folks would like me to do so.  Also, I still have a ton of Avery foils (going back to '09 Beast, Meph, Black Tot, Czar, etc) to add to the collection again this year.

That sounds great Lucas. I briefly met their two main festival folk last year when their kegs were delivered to Town Park. I think their Green Foils or anything else seasonal that's not being poured at the beer tent would be cool to share in this setting.

I also have a 2011 Rumpkin from you that I want to crack when I see you..along with returning a red cart  LOL

The Avery idea is awesome, that would be really cool. Invite them to join as well.
