Time to start looking in the grocery store for sales on Bacon! We all need to bring 6-8 packages, at least.

I can not understand your obsession with bacon Festivarians. We have bacon too but why is it so special, isn’t it just a slice of cured pork fried and served with an egg? Ok but nothing special.

Why is it so revered?

Come on tell me the secret code.....

Why bacon?

Because bacon is nature's perfect food.   It is the product of millions (or possibly billions) of years of evolution.  Eating bacon will actually increase your I.Q. by up to 4 points per week. AND it will get you laid  Thumbs Up

Um, vegemite, yeah but....it’s salty

We get fed it on toast as babies because it’s full of vitamins so it’s supposed to make you healthy. It’s a kid thing.

But I wouldn’t rave about it.

I must try American bacon, maybe it’s better than our stuff?

 EEK! LOL Rollin

Bacon? Really?? This isn't some kind of secret code. You have to experience bacon! Cured pork fried with an egg!!! Come on now. That's like saying you like Paul Hoffman because he has a really cool beard. He does have a real cool beard, but you're missing out on 95% of his goodness!! Bacon is a natural whole food, it has healing properties not found in many other whole foods. It can be tooled into glassware, shot glasses are very popular. It can be fashioned into clothing! It's not just for breakfast anymore!!

It sounds like Buckeye is calling for a Town Park bacon cook off. This is where every camp cooks at least a pound of pork belly, more is always better, at a set time. The aroma that FILLS Town Park is unlike anything in your wildest dreams. The last time this was done was about 10 years ago. Trust me when I tell you that bacon has healing properties. This is when we really discovered the aphrodisiac of bacon!  Dr. Love Holy Cow!! dancing :hop Town Park had never seen so much wood! If I'm not mistaken, there were over 40 Christmas babies that year!

Bacon might even be behind the scene of the goddess walk. The motivation behind the erection support team is Bacon! Maybe those ladies have stock in pork bellies. Not sure, but what I do know is Bacon is a powerful healer!!

Hey passport, for bacon 🥓 were to have an effect on Christmas babies, TBF and the bacon 🥓 cook off would have to have happened on or about March or April 25! We are humans after all not Jack Rabbits 🐰! Pirate

hey, monday morning around 7am would be a fine time for a bacon cookoff. Get nice and full before beer tasting or the other events planned for that day.
Leslie, since you are camping this year, you can enjoy the extacy of waking up to that wonderful aroma, then grab a few slices and let them melt in your mouth. Heavenly. Plus it has the added benefit of hiding the odour of 1000 unshowered festivarians.

Given I arrive on Monday night I might need to try it on Tuesday morning but yeah, I’m getting excited about a bacon cook off.

Ps showers are compulsory aren’t they?

No matter how much you love bacon, no matter how delicious it might be, you can never, never, never compare the dreamy PH to a slice of cooked meat.
