I would probably buy a ticket. Where is the link to the shuttle?
Still trying to weigh my options. Im coming in from Baton Rouge, LA. Drove last year & considering doing it again. Probably will have to spend  $400 in gas. Airfair and shuttle may outweigh driving.

Thanks

it seems like a great idea for individual travelers, but with 8 of us in our condo it would be over $2k for all of us. we are planning on carpooling but I guess we may not be as eco-friendly with 2 vehicles from the front range.....

I can see this working well with our campers that fly in to CO. The Front Range crew is already in Telluride for pre-fest leaving our festi-flyers without friendly ground transport. We bring extra camping gear, they fly in, jump on the shuttle, wake up in the morning in bluegrass paradise....yes, please!  Cheers

A couple things make this hard. 8 lift off on the 25th  to leave. If you are in MV this is a hard one because the gondola opens at 8 from what I understand.Hummm

Another difficult situation to manage if you are dropped in Tride and have to shlep a duffel, a lawn chair and a food box to the gondola to get to MV.

This Mountain Village thing a forst for me and I can see really the only way to get from point A to point B with these items is to drive up.

I like the Bus idea and rolling it around. Medal
