While I'm guessing the Elks Park Workshop schedule is already pretty much sketched out, the fact we have to wait another month (or longer) to see it lets our minds wander about what distractions from the already epic Main Stage lineup we'll get.  Listening to last week's Paul and Anders duo shows in Portland and Seattle led me to conclude that this would make for a most memorable Elks Park Workshop performance.  Hope you enjoy the attached link below.   Medal Medal

Other suggestions?

There's a ton of good potential, but the thing I want most is a Billy Strings and Brian Sutton flatpicking workshop, or just a Doc Watson set with those two.

Some other things I'd love to see:

an All Andy work shop (Andy Hall, Andy Dunnigan, Andy Thorn, Andy Falco)
something vocal-centric with any of the members of I'm With Her. Susan Tedeschi can join in if it's on Thursday and she arrives on time. Allie Kral would be welcomed as well, or Mimi Najae if she's in town.
Tim and Sam (they did one my first year in 2005, and I'd love to get another one)
Vince Herman leading anything with anyone.

Yes, everything you all have said, plus I think it be cool to have a 2nd generation band, or panel. Get all those guys and gals whose parents were pickers in touring acts together. Surely theres some good stories there.

I also always love a giant fiddle jam, lets get all those fiddle players together.

With this years amazing line-up of standout bass players, why not have a bass band!

Also, whens Live From Here going to announce the guests, they have for all the other shows??

Billy play First Grass on Wed, main stage on Thursday 3rd band so probably around 1? He then plays in Ohio on Friday so I think the chance of him doing a workshop is pretty slim. If you want to see him, you have 2 chances so don't blow it!

Last year it was published June 6 which was 9 days ahead of the festival start date.  That would equate to June 12 this year.  Can't wait!
