Looking for somewhere in town to park my camp van for the bluegrass festival. We would just be sleeping in it for those nights and will be calm and quiet. Dolores locals!

I would definitely look into this a little further car camping is not permitted in town so you might want to check Ilium or awesome Hill.  Try to contact the local who might let you park in front of their house but without a sticker it's probably going to get ticketed or towed just looking out ..... all the best and good luck hope to see you there

Unless you can find a private home to park in their driveway, don't try it. There is no overnight sleeping in vehicles allowed and they do patrol carhenge.
You can always drive up towards Trout Lake and pull off the road somewhere, or just commute back and forth. D-town is only an hour as you know.
