Is there any place at the festival where it's ok to have a regular height chair?

Absolutely.  There is a line and signs that say no high back chairs beyond this point.  I would say it is about halfway from the front. Everything behind it you are welcome to have regular chairs.   Thumbs Up

Which by the way is more abundant with open space just after tarp run...

many moons ago when we stayed up on Awesome Hill we'd bring a few regular chairs and set up HQ  in the back away from the dusty lane. then go meet greet learn eat drink shop sing dance and juggle the strangeness away from people we had yet to recognize as festivarians...

We eventually upgraded to low backs just because they're light and easy to pack and carry back  I think I paid 15 bucks for them on Amazon.

Fyi...
the weather changes rapidly
Dust becomes mud, crunchy boogers and tears if you sit to close to the lanes or beside dance floor.
Oh and the little hellions Evil may spray you or hit you with soggy mallow lol. (Thank YMSB)
  Thumbs Up
