Any guidelines for dimensions of Kelty sunshelters allowed/considered as polite?

No guide lines other than they are kept in certain clearly marked areas in the back of the festival. I've seen all shapes and sizes though.

Say it ain't so Joe. I cannot believe what I am about to say almost treason.

Considering not throwing a tarp because I will be solo but an Umbrella Chair sounds about right. I know I have stated a million times I hate umbrellas at Fest. Always in my face.
So where can I start an Umbrella Nation? LOL

I have always been against umbrellas at fest. Impolite to block the view of the person behind you. One year some guy brought a picnic table umbrella it was huge ad he was in front. And in front of me! Crazy. I mean really. LOL :burn

BUT this year I am farther away from my gear and solo I need a point of reference and shelter for a long day but just for me. so now I can see the use for an umbrella.  There has never been any guide lines as far as I know.
Just do not block the view of your neighbor.

There are some really cool chairs out there now that are concert friendly..not sure what they weigh but very compact and make sense. I have fainted at fest from heat exhaustion a long time ago. Not fun. I am bringing my shade. Umbrella Nation. Say it. LOL

I believe it is discouraged by PB, except in the back with sun shelters, but I have seen some small ones lately, use your best judgement and be aware of your fellow festivarians!
