This will be my first TBF, although been to many many music festivals in my day.  I'm pumped, have wanted to hit this my whole music-going life and just have never been able to make it happen...until now!

Just wondering, is there a schedule with set times released?

Set times will be available soon. Music starts at 11:00AM on Thursday and 10:00 AM the rest of the weekend. The order of the sets is posted in reverse order at bluegrass.com. Thea early sets are usually about an hour and the later sets of the day stretch to 1 1/2 hour and beyond. So that my help while you wait for the actual set times! Pirate

Thanks Pirate, this is useful info!

And TRL...I may need more than one extra set of socks, I'm prepared to get them blown off multiple times!

I've been to Telluride a few times to ski and to camp/hike in the summer, but finally making it to TBF and seeing some of my favorite musicians in that setting is definitely going to take it to the next level!

Thumbs Up I totally agree the music is completely amazing and resonates so beautifully in the Box Canyon but it wasn't till year two that I realized what makes it so special are the others to your left, right, down in front standing in queue for food or refill at the beer stand My Hope Is it's as great a time for you as it has been for so many others  Cheers. Definitely next level stuff Abduct

Saturday looks interesting. There is an hour break between Peter Rowan and the live broadcast. And Salmon is on stage until 12:30 AM. Might not be easy for any Saturday night Nightgrass shows.

I sure hope Thile has some killer surprises in the guest performers for LFH. Not sure why they haven't announced those guests yet, all the other scheduled broadcasts before and after TBF have announced guests. So it only leaves me to assume that there's going to be somebody really special to be announced. Fingers crossed.

There will be, like Sam, Jerry, Bela, Emmy Lou ......." and Billy Strings, Peter Rowan and Tim O'Brien. I have to believe he will pick his guests from the captive audience that will already be there!

This is what I was originally thinking, but since we already know all those artists will be there, you'd think there wouldn't be any hesitation in releasing that info. Thats what leads me to believe there's something more, either way going to be fun, interesting and exciting. Plus there's typically a comedian performing too.

Sure would be fun to get Steve Martin back.
