When can we expect the daily schedule?  Only able to swing a few days of the festival. Maybe thurs and friday or friday and sat.

Anyone know the headliners of any night yet?

Thanks!

Probably a few more weeks.  Last year's was announced Feb. 22nd.

Greensky will likely close the mainstage on Friday, Salmon on Saturday, and Sturgill lists Sunday on his website.

Looks like Saturday single day tickets are sold out. That will be the broadcast day of 'Live from here'. I'm wondering since that is a two hour show, and is broadcast live at 5pm CST will that move YMSB's traditional slot? If they are broadcasting at normal times, they'd have to be on stage from 4-6. I also wonder if they'll have musical guests who are not on the TBF line-up, or if they will fill the guest slots from those already on line-up???

Yes, Yonder is moving to a new slot. No word yet on when that new slot will be, but Ferg did say Yonder agreed to move.

It would be hard for Live from Here to accomodate all three of these into a 2 hour show, especially if Sam takes his usual 1.5 hours at least. What you may see is Yonder before LFH, then 2 hours of LFH, which will be Chris Thile and various guests, then Sam, then Leftover. That would allow them to roll up the stage by midnight. I think these days the town has a limit on how late the shows can run.
Saturdays has always been my favourite festival day, except maybe last year. One of the best highlights is the final of the band contest at 10 AM or so. Unbelievable talent every year. Then, you get the previous year's winner playing the next set. One of the best morning shows that I have ever seen in Telluride was the Li'l Smokies morning set a few years ago. They were unbelievable. And there is always Sam, Yonder, and usually some great party music for a closing set.
And to top it off, now you can head over to Run A-Muck for more music after midnight!

If LFH is over at 6pm, there's still 6hours to fit YMSB Sam and LOS by midnight. I'd rather see YMSB in the slightly later slot than earlier. Or I agree with you, the Sat line-up is usually the best, except last year, I'd say Thursday, or Sunday was my fav.
Is it June yet? I should start doing hard drugs so I won't be so occupied with Telluride on my mind!

Really trying to convince the wife to do the trip with our 3 and 5 year old... We'd be TBF newbies!

Having never been there, but based on this listserv and past concert experience, put together rough times for setlists.  The only thing I could likely confirm is 4 pm Saturday for Live from Here broadcast since they typically start 5 pm Central time each week.

Is this reasonably accurate guesswork?  Just trying to use this as a guide for mamma already worrying about wee one nap/bed times and papa who will want to see late night headliners. If I am way off base, let this newbie know  Wink

You're really close.

They usually have at least 15 minutes between sets. Most sets are 1h15m long. Some early sets will only be an hour. Bigger names (Yonder, Leftover, Del, Greensky, ISD, etc.) will mostly play 1h30m, and the headliners frequently play 2 hours, though the closing acts on Thursday and Sundays sometimes only get 1h30m (they typically shut down at 11pm those nights). Sam Bush is always 8-10 Saturday and I suspect that The House Band will be in the same slot on Friday. The act after will play 10:30-12. The Troubadour gets about 15 minutes, probably 6:15-6:30. Music starts at 11 on Thursday and 10 other days.

I could see TTB getting two hours, but most years, Sam and The House Band are the only acts to get 2. And it's possible The Hous Band only gets 1.5 this year. Greensky, Del, Salmon, Nitty Gritty, Sturgil, Yonder, Infamous, etc will all probably be 1.5 hour sets.
