What is the Airline that services Tride? My son wants to fly in. He only has a few days off work .

I’m the expert on this. Without doubt the easiest is to fly into Montrose and catch the shuttle. You can get direct to Montrose from plenty of places, I’ve flown from LA and will fly in from Dallas this time. We have also flown to Denver and driven but that takes a bit longer when you are on a tight schedule.  The summer flight schedule into Telluride has always been pretty thin when I’ve looked. Montrose offers heaps more options and you can get reasonable deals.

I was surprised the flights from Denver take an hour and 20 minutes. It takes 7 hours by car. Sign me up!

It's actually about 50-60 minutes flying time, although haven't flown out of Telluride in years.   Durango is a bit further than Montrose, but typically has cheaper fares.  There's also a new outfit operating out of Cortez, and I think they make daily flights ... although believe they're something like 6 or 8 seater props.
