So this Aussie has never heard or seen Sturgill Simpson until today. One of the reasons I love Telluride is learning about your country’s amazing musicians.

Started researching him. Wow, he is impressive and he takes a stand on issues that I care about.  Great call.

Been playing him on YouTube today, he has such talent.

Excited to hear him live.

This is going to be a fantastic festival.

Thanks again PBG, favourites galore and new ones to love in 2018.

Sturgill is absolutely phenomenal. I'm so happy they got him.

His first album is probably my favorite, but you can't go wrong with any of them.

I don't see him closing the mainstage.  My guess is they put him in the "headliner" spot, one before the closer.

Leftover Salmon has Thursday listed on their website. But they might still be there all weekend and I would hope they have a nightgrass as well as main stage. Still have hope for Horseshoes and Hand Grenades, they were a lot of fun at First Avenue Saturday night.

Sturgill followed by the House band on Sunday would be "normal" , right?  Medal Thumbs Up

How's about LfH followed by Emmy Lou, then Sammy, and YMSB to close out Saturday?  :burn
