For a more well known artist, I was kinda hoping for Dwight Yaokum...he recently put out a bluegrass album.

I am happy with any of the suggestions on this thread though.  Flower

Except for Greensky

That’s the “ this part is non negotiable” bit

Come on Ferg......we are awaiting the big reveal.... Flower Flower

Evil or Ferg can really drive everyone nuts and let us find out who's playing when we get the festival program. The only non negotiable artist is Sam...

The Caribou Christmas show looks like a great time but I will not be able to see it, Jeri is going. Looking forward to having her join me in seeing the Potluck String Band (the rumball and Runamuck house band) and the Horseshoes and Hand Grenades New Years shows in Minneapolis.  Cheers

The Potluck String Band were a lot of fun last year. Would not mind seeing them back.

I believe that the Potluck band members have town park tickets although they might be looking for a couple more. So maybe this is the first band announcement  Wave

Fret not, my fellow fan girl. It's their favorite week of the year, too. I've seen them say so themselves. Something tells me your sky will be green in that box canyon this June. 💚💙

I hope that Greensky is back for another 20 maybe 30 years. While I haven't fully jumped on their bandwagon and moved them from a roadside attraction band into a destination band. There schedule maker is probably the biggest reason as they tend to tour Wisconsin in spring, my maple season. And have played opposite of Leftover in Telluride for several years. So last year was the first time I saw them in four years other than one song in 2014, probably one of few good memory of that Sunday. While Sam Bush along with John Hartford and Doc Watson (my original destination bands) are the reasons why I made my first trip to Telluride 30 years ago. So as long as Sam is on the lineup I will probably be heading home for the summer solstice regardless of who else is playing. The best thing about this festival is that most of the bands are back every year and if one of the regular acts misses a year like Tim O'Brien did once or Leftover last year it's like missing one of your best friends in camp. Maybe soon we will have something...

Nice to see Jeff Austin getting some Planet Bluegrass love with the invite to Rockygrass this year.  I look forward to his telluride return.

Rockygrass line up looks great!

....and here we patiently wait for just a nugget of info on who is playing at Telluride. Even a hint so we could make accurate guesses......  Flower

Wow, couldn't have said it more eloquently! I missed seeing Hartford so many times, and then he was gone. Same with Townes. I try and see Tim and or Hot Rize as much as possible, and used to with Salmon, but the newest arrangement just isn't what it used to be. Punch Bros. are my newest destination bluegrass band. Bout time they release some new tunes. Al, where in Wisconsin are you ? I used to live outside Eagle River.

Perhaps Trampled by Turtles will make their return this year? It's been since 2015 that they played at TBF.

Also, just saw that Blind Pilot is opening for Elephant Revival at their Red Rocks show in May. Just my two cents, but Blind Pilot would be a great new addition to the TBF lineup!

See that Molly Tuttle has made it to Rocky Grass as part of a powerful all-female band. Maybe she can make it to Telluride too, playing with Billy Strings?

It's time Ferg>>>>>>>>We want presents!
