The Eagles are actually playing in Denver on June 28th, with Jimmy Buffet. It would be nice if some of them snuck over to Telluride beforehand.
Speaking of old time bands, here's one I would like to see. Both of these guys have played here before, but not together. One just last year. How about some Hot Tuna? Sammy can help out and do his impersonation of Papa John Creech.  Cheers

Ferg. Just do it. LOL

Girl Power. Come on Ferg, make us smile! I can just imagine the Festy crowd singing and dancing to Jimmy Buffet, what a party boy he is.  Flower Flower

I would not be surprised to see Jason Isbell, Shakey Graves, or Chris Stapleton with SteelDrivers.

Todd, here's one for you. Keb Mo got his first big break when Papa John Creach hired him to play in his band back in the 70's.

Wow. And Papa John played with some killer folks including Garcia. Just found his debut record at the local flea market not long ago. Never knew Keb Mo played with him, or was even playing out in the 70's. Thanks for the lesson.

If my memory is right we didn't get teased last year but just got the preliminary lineup. Seeing lineups announced from other festivals this year, Merlefest, Hartford Memorial, Blue Ox. The one band that seems to be likely is The Devil Makes Three. Also John McEuen "Will the Circle be Unbroken" and the Mission Temple Fireworks Revival for a Sunday gospel set also would be interesting. I suppose one should get up and have yourself a beer in honor of Jim Morrison's 74th birthday tomorrow.  Cheers
