Hey... it doesn't have to be organic!  That's just a personal preference.  Please bring or make anything you'd like to share.  It's so cool when someone walks up with stuff and shares...  That's the idea here.
I've got a killer recipe for a mexican cheese dip that's made with velveeta... definately not organic... most likely synthetic!  But boy is it goooood!

The Kaptain  Thumbs Up

Nice to have you back, Kaptain!  I know it doesn't  quote have quote to be organic, but I also try to eat healthy and am currently trying to find my place in the organic world.  There are so many different schools of thought on the subject that it's mind-boggling.  Maybe at the festival we could chat further about this, if anyone has some input they'd like to share.  It's something I'm really interested in.   Flower Flower

PS.  Velveeta = Good   Wink

did you know that "processed cheese food" doesn't have to be refrigerated? One of my coworkers didn't believe me so I sent some interoffice mail to him......to prove it he made me eat it next time I saw him. Was a little warm and nasty but I lived.

ABGAT prep weekend:

Finish radio show and proceed directly home for chat session with festivarians in Telluride Tom's Chat room. Drink two large snifters of single malt scotch before realizing it's after midnight and no one will be picking in the living room tonight. Go to bed.

6 am - the puppy jumps on the bed then back down  pukes right next to bed. Realize - it's time to get up and clean up the mess I stumble into the kitchen to find ground coffee realizing that the jar is empty; search out beans extension cord and grinder. Check batteries, thank goodness the charge is still at 90% capacity, plug grinder into inverter and grind coffee. Make Latte and log on to forum to find people nannering on about Heen and beatles tunes???? Go to front yard and unearth stainless steel sink that needs work for kitchen. Find hammer underneath the recycle can and bang on sink for 30 minutes before realizing that a cold chisel would work much better. Find cold chisel in airstream under sink. Get earplugs for noise from hammering.

Noon - Realize that sourdough for morning waffle test needs to get started, find sourdough and non metallic bowl. Forget that lid on flower jar is loose and dump 3 cups of flour on kitchen floor. Clean up mess. Check into forum to see tix available for Courtney's freinds. Get mail from Hope to call.... Hope calls Courtney, Tom Calls Jerry, Hope, Tom and Jerry have three way conference call. Jerry remembers that tarp is blowing down the driveway being chased by puppy.... Tarp retrieved and puppy calmed.

4PM Fire up grill for dinner lose second homebrew cup of the day and get ready to grill. Dave and Theresa call to discuss Town Hall Run a Muck layout, cell battery dies, look for charger - check battery capacity - it's 110% COOL. Grill dinner, drop grilled sweet peppers on ground, puppy eats them. Drink double shot of sweet rum intended for late night coffee drink and log onto forum. Type emberasssing things about relationship with a lesbian Aphrodite. Listen to Giants win. Realize that no one is picking in my living room, watch Josey Wales and fall asleep.

6am puppy jumps on bed cause the sun is up, stumble out to find bathroom, fall in cause someone forgot to put the seat down last night. Look for coffee maker, find it fully loaded and see bottle of rum next to it. Remember that late night coffee drinks were forgotten, decide that morning is just as fun.Test Organic Expresso Rum Latte drink... Look at sourdough starter on top off water heater keeping warm. Starter too warm, clean up mess on top of water hater. Now Late for production meeting.... Find tarp impaled on barbed wire fence at property line, retrieve tarp. Finish meeting and remember sourdough.... Too late for waffles , decide to make bread. Start bread - search for dutch oven.... Scream FFeeSSttIIvvAAll. Cop driving by thinks I'm loony and waves. Dog crawls into front seat and falls asleep. Out of homebrew now - find Fat tire and crack it before logging into forum.

To be continued?
