I'm hoping one of my Colorado Springs festivarians will grab something on their way out of town.

On the topic of food, what are some of you alls favorite cafe's, restaurants in town to grab a bite. Especially for a nice evening dinner. Also whats the grocery situation like during the festival, will shelves be bare in Telluride? We are hoping to be able to re-supply on vegetables, fruit and such while there, or will we have to make a run to another town for grocery supplies on Wednesday? For easy camp food we like to make a quinoa and bean salad mix varying the veggies each day for variety. We probably won't cook any meat in camp, and just get that at an establishment. Last time I was in Telluride was 1989 and there was a place on the second floor of the main street where you cooked your own meat, it had a market like atmosphere. Is that place still there?

I highly recommend Baked in Telluride. Great place to hit up after the tarp run and before the music starts for all manner of goodies. It definitely hit the spot to start the day, and I'm getting hungry just thinking of their breakfast burritos and croissants.

Plus 1 for Baked in Telluride.  Their slices are a great deal, and the coffee is decent.

Brown Dog pizza is a must.  Get the Detroit style.  I'm usually a NYC style girl, but this is sooooo good.  Diggity Dogs and the grilled cheese lady are my favorite food carts, usually set up by the courthouse and Elk's Park.

Our wedding anniversary falls each year during fest.  We've had great nights out to celebrate at Rusitco in town (Italian), and at the half-way point on the gondola up to Mountain Village at Alred's.  If you're looking for romance, that's the place.  Get a reservation prior to sunset and make sure you're sat by the window.

There is a farmers Market on Friday that I always like to hit.  My body usually craves fruits and veggies at that point.

The grocery stores are pretty well supplied. The one closer to the school has much bigger range than the one nearer the town Park. It is an easy walk, no worries. Skubes gave all the right advice on where to eat. I also like The Butcher and The Baker in Main Street. It has some nice salads and sandwiches. And the dumplings at the festival are awesome.

I'm getting so wistful, seriously missing you folks a lot!
