Gods and Goddesses alike, I'm starting to understand all those crazy feuding myths and to be honest if there was no light there would be no dark, it's that yin yang thing that makes life so much fun.  So while you're exploring Telluride tomorrow, try to let Hooch in on the secret.  We come in peace.  Tom, you go ahead and enjoy whatever.  Dark light - it is all perspective. Enjoy whatever because let's face it, you will anyway.

As for body kisses goddess shots or goddess kisses body shots, I really can't tell the difference.   Both seem just as important.

I hope I have done a sufficient job of underscoring my deep abiding love of the male gender.  Shoot... I've married half of them!

We do need the dark and the light, we are both capable of being the dark and the light...  Part of what's fun about being different though, for me, is to poke gentle fun at the boys.  Plain and simple.

I'm reminded of my boyfriend in sixth grade.  His name was Gilbert.  He had red curly hair (think Danny Bonaduce in The Partridge Family), and brilliant green eyes with the cutest freckles ever!  He was sporty and popular and he like me a lot.  Every night, for a month or so, one spring, as my girlfriends and I were walking home, he'd come running up behind us at full speed.  Because he had these big clod-hopping feet that he hadn't grown into, we could hear him coming from a block away.  Anticipating his approach, we'd start giggling and get all "goosy"... as soon as he got close enough, though we tried not to, we'd scurry in different directions.  Knowing what was coming, I always aimed for the grass.  I was faster than he, so I'd slow down just a little as soon as I reached a "soft place."  He'd tackle me with full force (this kid was twice my size, all told) and we'd roll to a stop.  He'd quickly get up, stand over me and blush for a few seconds, and run off.  This changed once we were "going out"... that strange thing kids do where they pair off but it's in name only, very little physical contact... so after that Gilbert would knock me down, jump off fast, blush and stammer, then without another word, reach into his pocket and pull out a handful of change, candy, and gum... sometimes there'd be a little ring or some other trinket, toss it at me and run off.  (I know... I've heard all the jokes... but feel free to bring 'em on!)

The point being that a lot of people never stop that playful approach to the male/female dynamic... and I hope they never do.

Back to Gilbert, he was my first little love!  And I still do love him... in a way; I at least love the memory... always brings a smile.  Rumor is Gilbert went on to collegiate football... I wonder where he is now.  Actually, I think because of Gilbert, I still LOVE to play tackle football... of course, with each year, my ability to recover from said tackle football is decreasing rapidly!

Speaking of preparing....
Hooch, Daniela, and myself will be making a reconnaissance trip to Telluride tomorrow (May 12).
We'll meet up at the Buck (Last Dollar Saloon) at noon, and will do our best to gather in front of the Telluride Web Cam some time between 12:30 and 12:45 so you can wave to us.
If anyone wants to capture it, and post the image here it would be great.
Cheers! Cheers
That sounds great.  I've always wanted to moon a webcam.

When I tried to save (when they were waving), the download wouldn't end. So I used the screen capture and cropped out everything but the picture.

Thanks for the screen capture!  Flower
You'll have to wait for Hooch and Daniela to get home for more pictures.
Like a dummy, I left my camera in the truck when we went on our walkabout through Town Park. EEK!
Last Dollar was closed until June as was Floridora's, so we had a beer around the corner before coming back to the web cam. Cheers
I showed Hooch and Daniela all around Town Park.
The dog's had a great time playing.
Then we went to Smuggler's for lunch just as it was starting to rain.
It cleared back up after lunch and we walked back to Town Park for another stroll.
Not too much snow around town but the peaks are still fairly full.
We had a great time! Thumbs Up

Whelp, we are back!  What a great time!  Thanks to Tom for showing us around and giving us some pointers.  He's got some great stories, so everyone make sure to hit him up for a few during the festival.

Great screen capture of us on Main St!  We were feeling a bit foolish waving at the camera not knowing if anyone was actually watching!  I only had one drink before we had to head to the cam, so it was not quite enough for mooning.  I'll attach a few pics of the day.
