Been to the Telluride Festival a handful of times, but this is my 1st Rockygrass experience!!

To top it off, my wife and I are bringing our 2 boys age 3 and 1.  We will be setting up shop in the way back so we have some wiggle room for the kids (ear protection already in hand as well)

We are staying up the road at Stone Mountain Lodge and will be driving down each day.  I see where we park in town/shuttles run us to the festival, but does anyone know if there is a daily 'Drop off' area at the festival entrance?  In my perfect world, there is a spot I can pull over for 5 min to drop off my wife/youngest and the stroller before I go park/shuttle over to help cut down on the amount of stuff we need to lug in via the shuttle.

Any other good advice for a 1st time 'Griswald Family Bluegrass Road Trip' such as ours???

Can not WAIT!!!

Welcome, Statelax!
You will love this as much (if not more!) than TBF. I've brought my sons since they were the ages of your kids, and they're now 24 & 26yo - a great festy to bring them to!

Yeah, you might be able to do a quick pullover just past the main PB gate (west of gate) OR across the street in the Auto business, as long as you're quick and super careful.
Another alternative is to do the drop at Stone Cup coffee - it's a ~200 yd walk to the main entrance, I'm guessing.

If I'm wrong about this, someone else jump in.

Have a great time!

The Stone Cup/ High Street option is probably best, depending on when you are pulling up. The Sheriff at the front gate isn't too fond of people stopping on the highway. ;-)

Thank you kindly everyone!  Heard Stone Cup was a good spot for a quick drop off as well from someone else.

Sorry, one more questions, I assume we can pick up our tickets on Friday at Will Call?  Anyone know what time that opens up at?  We are driving up from Denver, but hoping to be inside for some of the 1st bands friday!
