I was completing the PB online survey which I do every year after the festival and I noticed that the 2018 TBF is a week later this year...6/21-24. I've never seen it this late and I thought it was always the 3rd weekend in June? Is there a reason for the change?

It is the closest weekend to summer solstice. Which is typically the 21st.

Every year I look forward to the last page of the program which provides the TBF dates 3 years out.  When I get home, I update my calendar to block those 11 days.  It feels good to have it locked in through 2020.

June 21-24, 2018 (45th)
June 20-23, 2019
June 18-21, 2020

June 21 - 24 dates were a few years ago too - I know as my birthday is the 25th.   Several years ago I did research on the previous TBF dates and found that the 24th is the latest that the TBF will be.

No change, just as late as it can be.

Music starts the 3rd Thursday of June.
