Goes without saying I have to see Greensky

Would totally love to see Billy Strings, I keep watching his clips, he is fantastic

And I still think it would be GREAT fun to have Jimmy Buffet close out one night. He is such a good time guy and would have everyone up dancing and singing.

I know the festival will be awesome whatever you do, the talent in your country is unbelievable, I just watched Miley Cyrus and while she isn’t exactly my cup of tea you have to say she has unbelievable talent.

Ps we are still flying over every year from Australia and wishing and hoping for Alison Kraus and Union Station, our holy grail

jimmy buffett would be cool and it would shock me if he got invited and said yes
they would definitely be selling way more beer that night!

jason isbell is the guy for my wishlist
having amanda on fiddle in the band seals the deal for me
it was already good before her

would love to see some sunday morning new orleans funk. with horns for sure
that music/bands is an endless source to tap in to x 10

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy has two upcoming shows in Colorado real soon and I think they would be a big hit for Telluride.

To start last nights combined encore with The Kitchen Dwellers and Horseshoes and Hand Grenades at the Bluebird in Denver they did a great tribute to Malcolm Young with You Shook Me All Night Long. Both those bands would be great additions to Telluride this summer.

I think Bonnie Paine's old/still playing band 'My Tea Kind' should play! Or Bonnie and her sister Anna Paine!

It would be awesome to see Jimmy Buffett, it would be a much better setting to see him in besides the big arena where I buy the cheapest ticket to enjoy his show - I am a parrothead at heart, we go every year when he comes to town but parrotheads are crazy party animals...tho this is my first Bluegrass festival so I don't know what the party atmosphere will be like.

Yes I have been lobbying for Jimmy Buffet too. Saw him at Byron Bay Bluegrass festival last year ( that’s in Australia folks, come visit us, we’re friendly) and he lit up the festival. So much fun, the whole place was singing and dancing, it was a seriously good party under the southern stars.

Come on Telluride, we can top it!

Is it too late for band suggestions? Turnpike Troubdors latest album A Long Way From Home, is So good. Every song is my favorite. I don't think they have played TBF?

You need to come to Oklahoma, Turnpike Troubadors are from my hometown. They play a lot of shows around good stuff for sure.

John Hiatt is on tour with The Goners.   A 30th anniversary tour featuring Sonny Landreth on slide.  That was my favorite Hiatt era and it would just ROCK TBF.
One of my most memorable moments at TBF was John Hiatt on stage as an encore, no moon, stage totally blacked out. There was one spotlight on John Hiatt playing piano and singing " Have A Little Faith in Me" in that dark box canyon! Still gives me goose bumps. Not on that song as it was solo but Sonny was there with John in 2001! That and Dr. Ralph Stanley singing "Oh Death" Acapella blew me away. What an experience for my first TBF!  Pirate
