I've been home and unpacked for two days and I'm already thinking about next year!

So here's a few suggestions of bands I'm pretty sure have never played the festival. If your unfamiliar I suggest checking them out.

Jeffrey Lewis and Los Bolts
John Fulbright
Split Lip Rayfield
Bad Livers reunion
Modest Mouse (I know but it be better than Jason Mraz)
Built to Spill
Spearhead

there thats a start, I'm sure I can think of more as the fog clears.

Personally, I'll be happy if they get Leftover Salmon and The Lil' Smokies back.

My wish-list would include Chris Stapleton, Cris Jacobs, Sturgill Simpson, Jason Isbell, Tedeschi Trucks Band, some form of Warren Haynes (maybe an Ashes and Dust show, or an acoustic or country Mule set), The Black Lillies, Hard Working Americans, John Moreland, Robbie Fulks, Turnpike Troubadours. I could probably come up with more, but I should be working, not foruming.

Matt, I bet you'd like it here in Oklahoma, Half the bands you listed are either from Oklahoma or have members in the band from Oklahoma, mostly Tulsa. Anyway I like your suggestions, other than I've seen Toubadors way too many times. And Yes it was disapointing that Salmon wasn't there this year. They got offered too much money to play elsewhere.

I'd add Wilco, and I know he's played but Beck is always a great show, I still say though all of you should check out Jeffrey Lewis, and PB should really look into getting him at a festy. He's not quite folk, but he's not quite not folk. If you ever listened to the Holy Modal Rounders (Leftover played half their catalogue) Jeffrey Lewis has collaborated with the surrviving member on multiple albums. Anyways cheers all go see live music!

I get a lot of them up by where I live in Portland. I saw Cris Jacobs in March opening for GSBG, Isbell will be here in September, TTB in November (with HWA opening), Moreland in August. I'm definitely a big fan of the Red Dirt Country scene!

Also, a little birdie told me Salmon will be back for sure next year. They wanted to play this year, but my guess is PB wanted to shake things up a bit with the lineup.

I'm hoping for some special things for the 45th

I would truly love to see Dolly and I just watched Miley Cyrus do a duet with her recently. I'm not a Miley fan but wow, they were fun together.

I would be bereft if Greensky wasn't there.

That said I am so happy discovering fantastic new music from your country so I know I will appreciate whatever PB chooses. I hope you guys appreciate how incredibly lucky you are to have such a mind blowing range of talent. Blows my mind

( see, I refrained from saying Alison Krause and Union Station, it is possible)

Oh I LOVE that we are already speculating.

And the sun is shining here on this winter's day

😀😀😀😀❤️

I talked to the fiddle player of Lil Smokies back in April. I asked why they were not on the lineup for 44th TBF. Sounds like they are coming back next year. He said they were going to bounce back and forth with Rocky Grass.

The Brothers Comatose would be a blast to see in Telluride.

I don't know who Brothers Comma Toes are but I'll take ecmoore87's word for it.

Jeff Austin needs to come back to the festival ASAP!

Amadou and Mariam - the blind couple from Mali.  Unreal grooves.

They played HSB several years back and the place just came unglued.  Ecstasis.

I don't believe this is going to happen any time soon.

On a related note:  I don't believe Yonder's "traditional time slots" are going to change in the near future either.

I've seen Jeff's bands play festivals YMSB were also playing. Too bad they can't work together, I definitely prefer YMSB with Jeff.
