You people in the preserve have it so easy, try stumbling down into the primitive area like we always do LOL  Actually all of this talk is making me rethink whether I want to keep heading  into the primitive area and move up where all of you guys are.

I'm seriously thinking about bringing my dog for abgat week.  Any feedback on that idea?  She's great company in the car and loves adventure.  I'll bring plenty of little baggies and that dog camp kennel is really fantastic for her.

OK Anne!  I know you are out there... doing your LURK-thang.  I'm over it.

Everybody... this is Anne.  She lives in Denver and is part of Run-A-Muck.  We worked together YEARS ago.

Anne... this is Everybody.

Now talk amongst yourselves... I'll give you a topic:

According to science, life is created when matter and energy interact.  Peanut Butter is matter and we constantly expose it to energy, such as light and heat.  So, if science is correct, we should expect to find new life in peanut butter.  Therefore, evolution is a false theory.

Discuss....

hahaha! I thought I outed myself on the other lurker thread, then I dig a little deeper and find this. Thanks for the intro Rhonny, and hi everyone!  Wave
We worked together THIRTEEN years ago! 'Tis true. Fast forward to 2001 and I see this rhonnySLC on the yahoo festivarian board, and figured it had to be the same person. Thanks for introducing me to Run-a-Muck a few years back, my life hasn't been the same since! Truth be told it hasn't been the same since my first festival 7 years ago.
Now about this peanut butter...I know for sure that new life can grow in, say, sour cream. I believe there is currently substantial proof of it in my 'fridge.  So why not peanut butter??

I'm glad you finally showed up Anne... we've been waiting, watching and wondering.

It sounds like you take much the same approach with respect to product in the 'fridge.  If it is still edible, or shoot in some cases recognizable as food, you feel bad throwing it out with so many starving people in the world.  Since I like the resolve to package it up and send it to the starving people, I leave it in my fridge until it's no longer edible.  Then I throw it out with nary a feeling of guilt.

As for life in peanut butter... I'm convinced that there is life in my peanut butter... but only the natural stuff.  That Jif and Skippy stuff is incapable of supporting life... too many chemicals.

Now, everynight before I go to bed, I go to my fridge, open my peanut butter and sing a lullaby.  I think they view me as a very benevolent and considerate Diety.  Now if I go home and make a peanut butter sandwich... that view may change.

Welcome Anne!  So glad we're getting "back in touch!"  Is your other friend attending as well?  The blond... I can't remember her name... wait, was it Lynne?

xoxo Rhonny

P.S.  Remember John Opasinski?  From Private Label?  He's now thinking about coming along.  Though his idea of "camping" is a 4 star with a walk to the beach rather than a 5 star on the water!

Benevolent and considerate deity - too funny! Y'know I talk to my plants, and I'm thinking that perhaps the tiny colonies in my fridge are probably feeling a little neglected. I'm worried they may be staging a coup. If I don't make it to Telluride, please do a welfare check on me!    EEK!

(I remember the name, but not the person...  it's funny, after ASC I was down in Birmingham at Bruno's. They were going through a big restructuring, and I think three peeps from ASC ended up moving down there.)

Yes... wasn't it John Bagin, Marcy Stipp (sp? of the last name) and Mike Hoffman?  I know Bagin ended up at Albertsons, and I didn't really know Marcy that well (she ended up signing up for BYU's Exec MBA.. and signed that damn "Honor Code" thing... so she was never at any of the "drinking events"... oh Lord!  remember those?  remember the hot tub?  you in ALL your clothes.. Rollin ), but as far as I know Hoffman was and is still there.

We should actually do this little walk down memory lane offline.  So do you have your TP pass?
