Hey all. We'll be driving through New Mexico headed for TBF on Friday June 9th. Looking for an easy place to pitch a tent close to the highway. Hoping to get North of Albuquerque before needing to camp. National forest access would be best, so we can avoid a camping fee. We won't be setting up the kitchen sink, just pitching a small tent and jumping in sleeping bags. We'll be headed north west from I 40 on 550. Will take suggestions for places off I40 east of Albuquerque too. If we make it as far as Albuquerque, we'll probably want to get a good 30 minutes north of city. Thanks
