If you are new here, let me tell you something.

This festival will make your life better and being part of this forum will bring you joy

I have written before of the love and kindness I experienced when I came to Telluride the first time- the way someone gave me a blanket to sit on when we arrived at Firstgrass, how strangers asked us to join them for dinner, being given tickets to see Greensky, being embraced by Duktapers ....

Have been so sad because I'm not there this year - have also been so touched when so many people came forward with offers of new accommodation, offers to exchange my tickets, etc

I even had a friend let me know they had a GSBG ticket for me ( which they have gifted to another festivarian cause that's what we do)

Has been hard reading the posts as the festival gets closer - happy for everyone but oh it is hard not to feel a bit sad that I can't be there

Then today....

I woke up this morning and there was a message in my inbox with an offer of a gift from a fellow festivarian. A present that he knew I would absolutely love. Which would make me feel like I was there even when I'm stuck on the other side of the world.

Someone I have never met except on this forum

Again

The people on this forum generate love. In a world where so many of us feel angry, disempowered, upset, lost...Telluride builds community.

Magic? People power? It is the music, the philosophy, the place, the vibe.

I love how it gives us our heart.

Telluride is magical. That magic cannot be described, it has to be experienced.

Once you experience Telluride you will want to return, guaranteed.

We will miss your smiling faces this year, and look forward to seeing you in 2018. Flower
